Evidence of filming (independent)

  • I filmed this lip syncing scene by using a tripod to ensure that the camera was stable.
  • I also used the projector to put graphics onto the board

Outfit ideas (Group)

These types of clothes will be used in the filming of our music video. I think that these clothes are quite casual which makes the audience connect to the artist a bit more. As she is not wearing any expensive designer brands, this makes the artist appear more real and relatable.
  • The leather jacket connotates a bad image. This helps tell the storyline as she turns bad because of him.
  • Jeans makes her appear more casual and makes the scenes look more realistic as if they were happening in real life.
  • The tight fitted dresses adds a contrast to the lip syncing scenes. It is distinct that these scenes are performance related.

Narrative Storyboard (Group)

We discussed ideas within the group. Our peer then sketched up a rough outline of the story by frames.
  1. We decided to have projector scenes where the artist is lip syncing
  2. The next scene would transition into the artist and the actor sitting in a classrooom
  3. He then influences her sneak out of class
  4. Scenes of them doing rebellious things start to be introduced. He offers her a cigarette
  5. The two then start doing drugs
  6. For the chorus, the artist would be lip syncing with coloured overlays transitioning over the top
  7. As the video progresses, there would be a montage of the two running away together to symbolise how reckless they are
  8. The storyline develops into him getting caught by the police
  9. He then get's into jail and more crime related scenes are shot
  10. At the end of the video, it goes back into a cycle where the female artist then influences a good boy.
